Have you ever planned your Saturday a week before and suddenly find out on the day itself that your plans won’t push through? Do you know how it feels to have a messed up schedule, especially on a Saturday?
Weeks before, my Saturday schedule didn’t fall into the right place. I found out as soon as I woke up that I was supposed to join my family for a mandatory family event. Joining family events wasn’t a problem at all. In fact, I enjoy going to parties with my family, see my relatives and make chika with them. However, dilemma lies on the fact that I could miss my plan to go to the Ultimate Taste Test in Rockwell Tent. For a moment, I kept on grumbling to my parents, which is unpleasant. I was ranting to my sister because of the conflict of time and messed up plans. I know I wasn’t honoring my parents with my attitude already. My actions reflected my heart of grumpiness.
Thank God my parents, especially my mom, were understanding and forgiving. Mom talked to me and gave me comfort. She told me not to dwell on the problem anymore and find a solution for me to make it to both events, family event and Ultimate Taste Test (UTT). Despite my horrible attitude at that time, they still managed to help me find a way for me to catch up to the Ultimate Taste Test. I’m really blessed with a supportive and understanding family. In addition to that, I learned my lesson, managing anger and messed up plans. So even though I was late, wherein the food stalls were about to pack-up, I still made it.
Here are some shots of the food stalls I was able to catch:

Cupcakes galore!!! I started the Ultimate Taste test with some desserts.

Almost Gourmet was there!

This Thai Milk Tea was my drink for the night.

My friend Carlos forced me to try this Tuyo Pasta. I don’t really eat Tuyo. But after trying it, I am now looking forward to more Tuyo Pasta in my lunchbox!

Merry Moo ice cream is a must-try. I chose to try their Lemon Meringue and I can say it was fantastic!

The Cereal Bar was another discovery. It’s a healthy snack to start the morning.

Glad to see the stall of Francis, Heart, Meat and Soul Foods.

A unique find at the UTT! Sushi-like desserts. 🙂
Despite the extreme tardiness, I was able to make it. Yes, the event was about to end. The important part is that I didn’t miss it and still get to try some of the foods at the UTT. Im really looking forward to another UTT. And hopefully, I arrive earlier this time and try EVERYTHING! 🙂
