“It’s better late than Never.” My plans to visit Cha Dao Tea Place was supposed to be last October. Being caught in between work and family activities, tight schedule interrupted the so-called plan. I’ve been delaying the visit for how many weeks already. Last Tuesday, I finalized my plan, made sure it wouldn’t be moved to any date anymore. At last, I finally put a check mark beside the name Cha Dao Tea Place on my list.
Cha Dao uses brewed tea as their main ingredient to create different Milk Tea flavors. For health conscious people who might ask, milk plus tea combined won’t do any harm to your health. We basically know that milk contains all the nutrients and vitamins our body needs (calcium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, etc.). While tea, a plant-based beverage, similarly gives our body the nutrients we find in fruits and vegetables. In short, milk tea benefits our health.
With all excitement and animation, I ordered 4 different beverages for my Cha Dao experience.
How to order from Cha Dao Tea Place:

Check out our orders:
Assam Milk Tea with Pearls – I had to try their Assam Milk Tea because I get tweets from people to try this kind of milk tea. It shows that my tweeps have good taste buds. They weren’t wrong after all. Assam Milk Tea of Cha Dao Tea Place is a hit! Now I know why it is a bestseller. 😉

Strawberry Fruit Tea with Popping Bobba – Feel the popping bobba literally pop in your mouth. It is now my favorite sinker! The popping bobba adds life to any drink you get. According to one of the servers in Cha Dao, popping bobba is best with fruit teas. If you are experimental, go ahead and try it with your milk tea.

Peach Mango with Lychee Popping Bobba – Another fun drink I had at Cha Dao Tea Place because of the popping bobba. This was my favorite drink out of the 4 beverages served. The lychee popping bobba gave a twist to the peach mango flavor of the drink.

Wintermelon Milk tea with Nata – This was the choice of Jheck. You’ll meet him later as you read along. Wintermelon Milk Tea tasted sweeter than Assam Milk Tea. According to Jheck, it was exactly his type of milk tea. Putting nata on your milk tea drink can be an option for you. Common choice for Filipinos is to put pearl for our milk tea. For a change, I strongly suggest you to try this sinker if you are sick of pearls on your milk tea.
Cha Dao’s small space in Kapitolyo Pasig can be one of the spots you can choose if you need free WiFi. There are magazines in the store that can entertain you as you wait for your order. While waiting for my friend Jhecks, who was my companion that night, I kept myself busy reading Appetite Magazine and some of my favorite lifestyle magazines.

Meet Jheck, my fashion blogger friend, who immediately said YES, when I told him about my plan to visit Cha Dao. I love him for being game all the time! It’s like I can just pull him out of the closet anytime. haha!

Raising my thumb up because of the quality service Cha Dao Tea Place’ staff gave us.

Thank you to Cha Dao Tea Place for taking care of us at the store. Hopefully I can visit other branches and get to try more drinks.
