The sound of the word burger is music to my ears. I’ll be the first one to fall in line if you call me for a burger trip. My trip to 8 Cuts is always worth my time. Actually, I’ll make time for it. Won’t you?
8 Cuts Burger Blends, under the care of The Moment Group, the group behind Linguini Fini, Cue Modern Barbecue, and more award winning restaurants, use the magic number 8 because of its 8 cuts of beef used in the burger blends. You’ve got chuck, rib eye, short rib, sirloin, brisket, hanger, flank and ox tail.
These guys from Moment Group know how to please our palate as they get out of the ordinary burgers. Giving you the freedom to mix and match your burger blends, eating burgers become more advanced than just adding random toppings.
On one of my normal days, I headed out for late lunch with O at the newest branch at Serendra, BGC.

The Food:

Chinatown Shrimp Poppers (Php 260)
Rate: 3/5
I didn’t want to jumpstart my 8 Cuts dining with burgers right away. To start, I tried out Chinatown Shrimp Poppers. Battered shrimps with crushed peanuts and glaze on top. A tiny drop of its creamy dressing works to add a little more taste. My palate was sporting for more savory flavors that afternoon. The game of this appetizer didn’t keep me interested to grab another bite.
Good Ol’ Hot Fried Wings (Php 285)
Rate: 4/5
Now we’re talking about real good food. Good Ol’ Hot Fried Wings flew me to wanting more. Chicken meat tastes fresh while the skin hooked me to its crispy touch. You have to start with this appetizer before you head on to the main event, the burgers!
The Q-Daddy (Php 295)
Rate: 5/5
I wish my daddy was there with me when I had my The Q-Daddy burger. I know this is the kind of burger to get his attention. Quarter-pounder Ox Blend patty (flank, ox tail and rib eye) with yellow cheddar, onion tanglers, crispy bacon strips, iceberg lettuce, tomato, jalapeño ranch & sweetly spiced BBQ sauce. All of these ingredients packed in a Sesame Seed bun. Whew! Did you get all these toppings? That was quite long to jot down but too quick to smash them in my mouth. Every ingredient blended perfectly as a whole! My favorite from 8 Cuts!!! 🙂
Blend Your Own Burger
Now this part has got to be subjective based on what you prefer on your burger. As for us, our child-like hearts lead us to being playful with our food. Sandwiched between brioche buns, we chose two patties, The House Blend and The Ox. To get it more playful, we added truffle cream cheese, sauce # 3, caramelized onions, potato chips, fried egg and the usual lettuce and tomatoes to lessen the guilt. Hehe.
If you were to create your own burger blends, how will you make it?
Red Velvet Caked Shake
12oz (Php 220) / 16oz (Php 295)
Rate: 4/5
Do you imagine your red velvet cake smashed and slushed into a shake? 8 Cuts pulled it off! With the use of your straw, you get to sip all those smooth sweet red velvet cake down to your throat.
The store manager showed off his barista moves by serving us his signature Margarita slush. He brought Burger Bar, another Moment Group restaurant, to 8 Cuts! Cheers to that!

The Ambiance:

Clean and neat to the eyes. The interiors composed mostly of its comfy couches, casual tables and chairs for diners’ pig out sessions with their groups.
Serendra branch has that spacious look, not overcrowding if dinner time strikes.
As you open your ears more, you’ll get to chill with the hip and trendy music that fits the sound of your burger bites.
Have you tried 8 Cuts Burger Blends?
I’d love to hear what you think about this place! 🙂
