When I set my feet to a different destination, I notice my normal energy racing to its maximum level as if there’s no tomorrow. My eyeballs do not want to close no matter where the clock’s hands point. The youth spirit in me generates me to still wander around and explore wherever i am. Shanghai night turned to be one of those sleepless nights. I didn’t choose to, but it just happened. I was fortunate to be with a group, O, O’s brother and fiancee, who shares the same energy as mine. After our buffet dinner, we chose to stay out of the hotel, explore the city, instead of locking ourselves inside the hotel room.

Without knowing exactly what to do, dressed up casually for the night, we went out of the Grand Central Hotel for an evening of exploration.

The question we’ve been “googling” the moment we stepped out of the hotel. A long list of what to do but we just gave up the google search and decided to let the lights take us wherever.

The blogpost I wrote earlier about China was all about the various food you meet along the streets of of Shanghai. Having Xiao Long Bao as Shanghai’s masterpiece, I became a hunter for Xiao Long Bao the whole time I was situated in Shanghai.

The photo above made me want to go back to Macau for the freshest and cheapest Egg Tarts. Shanghai China had those Egg Tarts along the streets too. Get them while their fresh and hot!

Fruits all over the city! You can’t get away with the freshness of fruits as they are sold right in front of your face wherever you go.

Before the Philippines get a piece of the newest Apple gadget, Shanghai branch has it. The Chinese can’t get enough of the big Apple store. A glass room crowding with people checking the latest model, including us. Hehe.

No agenda, moving forward was just the intention. The group went inside the stores along Nanjing Road for some shopping before the shops close. The night life was similar to our day life in Shanghai, shopping and eating.

The clothes and shoes of big fashion brands along Nanjing Road are all eye-candies!

Party at the streets. Not! Plain shoppers walking along the road of this shopping alley.

So we all bonded at The Bund! The riverfront boardwalk in Central Shanghai looked very romantic at night, captivating our sight with bright colored lights surrounding the city. No wonder couples use this scenery as a background for their prenup pictorials. For a relaxing view aside from the beach or the mountains, The Bund at Shanghai is a mighty Bund choice.

By the way, we spotted one couple having their photoshoot by the river. Right choice for a romantic city scenery. Nope, not them. They’re with us.

A photo opt was a must with a sight of Oriental Pearl Tower from where we were standing.

Oh, wow! Beautiful, isn’t it?

The romantic sight of The Bund is pushing me to let out my romantic fairytale words. But, but, but. Publicly cheesy, that’s not really my thing. I’m still working out my loving words for my partner since I am used to expressing my love for food. Hehe. But I’ll still try. Here you go….

Nahh… Next time. Maybe I’ll write a cheesy post the next time around.

The photo is a still proof how we love being silly together. Our ugliest faces never annoy as we look at each other face to face. As long as our hearts are united and in partnership with God, we’re all good. Two thumbs up! 🙂
