Apart from cooking for your family, have you ever tried cooking for a cause?
The spirit of Christmas is in the air and I smell everyone’s enthusiasm for giving. US Potato Board is opening doors for everyone to share the love of cooking and giving by joining #USPotatoesForACause challenge.
As we all know, US Potatoes are good ingredients for large group meals, for parties especially, because they are already pre-prepared, pre-cut and pre-cooked. You don’t need to be a chef to cook them properly. Plus, US Potatoes are a good source of vitamins and minerals. That’s a fact. As an amateur cook who enjoys buying almost all ingredients in leading supermarkets, it’s easy for me to find US Potatoes at the frozen section. I don’t really see any reason not to love easy-to-cook and tasty US potatoes. To know how I usually cook US Potatoes, check out the recipes I shared months ago posted on this blog.
If you love using US Potatoes for your experimental recipes like me, you have a chance to win #USPotatoesForACause challenge! For every recipe you submit, the USPB will donate 1 kilo of US dehydrated potatoes to underprivileged children who deserve our help.
Watch my friend Chef Sharwin’s video to get the whole idea of this US Potatoes challenge.
Are you inspired by Chef Sharwin’s recipe? Then it’s your turn to show what you’ve got and cook US Potatoes for a cause.
