A month ago, I blogged about my new Vietnamese discovery, Aquaknox. Ever since I learned about how delectable their dishes are, this restaurant now became one of my favorites around my area, Greenhills. However, I had some mistakes whenever I visit Aquaknox. I tend to forget to take photos of my favorite dish. Now, let me take you back to Aquaknox by showing you my favorite and other dishes I’ve tried.
You couldn’t miss out on Naked Crabs! This is the ‘shizzz’ guys! haha! Sorry for the language but I am seriously crazy over this dish.
What’s so cool about it? You don’t need to mess up using your hands because Naked Crabs is literally “naked”!
When you take off that top shell, you’ll see the shredded crabs spread all over. No need to set first dibs on those claws. Just grab your spoon, dunk it in and shoot it in your mouth!
The way it was cooked was perfectly fine and fresh. Just the way I like it cooked, especially it had garlic bits all over! 🙂
Every order of Naked Crabs, you get this free pasta! Cooked in olive oil and garlic, with some Parmesan cheese on top.
Goi Cuon (Php 150) – If Filipinos have Lumpia, Vietnamese have this. A healthy wrap composed of greens, sliced prawns, greens and rice noodles. I wouldn’t advice eating it without the sweet sauce. 🙂
Chao Tom (Php 185) – I call this Prawn Lollipop! The stick used for the prawns is sugarcane. To eat this properly, you must wrap the prawn with the greens, then add some sauce. Oh, and don’t forget to remove the stick. It isn’t edible. 🙂
Cahn Ga Chien Voi Toi (Php 175) – The Vietnamese Chicken lollipop! What I love about this one was the sauce. Tasted like vinegar with some lime and spices. If you have kids and feel like Vietnamese Cuisine is not for them, think twice when you let them try this.
Goi Buoi Voi Tom Nuong (Php 150) – Again, a healthy dish for veggie lovers. Shrimp, cabbage, pomelo, all mixed up with vinaigrette.
Mi My Tho (Php 195) – Soup wasn’t my fancy at that time. So I couldn’t say that much about this dish. As far as I can remember, I only had 2 sips and that was it. What I can only say is that the soup was very “Vietnamese”. Haha!
Our long table of bloggers! 🙂
Pray, Eat and Love.
Cheers,
