It was a privilege to be invited in Appetite Magazine’s Press Launch, together with people from the press, VIPs of huge companies and advertisers. The event was held at the 41st floor of Discovery Suites, Magellan Room.

The purpose of this event was simply to launch the new Editor-in-Chief of Appetite Magazine. Wanna know who it is? Let the photos tell you the story…

At the Magellan Room of Discovery Suites. The venue was enough for the limited guests of Appetite. There was no need for a large function room for an intimate event like this.

Introducing the STAR of the day, Ms. Nina Daza Puyat. The new Editor-in-Chief of Appetite Magazine! She looked fab wearing a strong red Chinese-collared dress, with peep-toe sandals. Her pretty face brought class to the whole outfit. Striking indeed!

*Nina Daza Puyat is the daughter of the culinary icon Nora Daza. According to Ms. Nina, her claim to fame is that she did recipe development for Century Tuna, co-authored The Philippine Cookbook, did some TV demonstrations and food styling for Del Monte.

VIP Guests of Appetite Magazine

One of the most-awaited part of every event, EATING TIME! I bet Appetite was pressured in choosing the dishes for their guests since their magazine caters to FOOD. 🙂

FYI, I don’t eat pork. My plan to eat rice failed that time because there was no other choice. Sweet & Sour Minced Pork Fried Rice, nothing else but that.

While listening to Ms. Nina’s speech, all I could say was “Awwwww!”. She’s such a sweet mom, wife, daughter and cook. Without a doubt, she deserves to be handpicked as the new Editor-in Chief of Appetite Magazine!

  Nina Daza Puyat will surely bring more color to the world of food. Her plans are simply brilliant! When you get a copy of the magazine, you’ll see why. 🙂
