Thank you dad and mom for being accountable to me. I am amazed on how you raised me and Reine. God has really given you the talent, the skills and the wisdom to be able to help me grow up properly with a balanced life. I am overly blessed because you always support me from the biggest to the simplest things. Both of you are like my genies who grants my requests 😀 (Not to mention the gadgets. hehe!)
Gratitude – The Best Attitude
Before I close my eyes and fall asleep, my mind constantly thinks about “life” in general. It seemed to be a clock that cannot be stopped easily. In those nights, I usually reflect on things I have accomplished in a particular day or event. And whenever I reflect, I get emotional and praise God for all the blessings He has given me and continuously giving me. My parents taught me to have the attitude of being thankful. In short, I am raised to have a “gratitude” attitude.
Due to that, I just want to take this time to express my gratitude to my family a.k.a. my Food Scout buddies, who never fails to support and encourage me in all my endeavours.
To my loving family, you are like a sponge that absorbs me no matter what I do. I know there are times that I tend to be bossy and bratty. There could be times that I don’t obey you. I want you to know that you are number 2 in my priority list. (First is God). I can cancel all my events, work load, gimmicks, and other extra-curricular activities if you need me.
Thank you family for being my number 1 supporters/fans. Haha! I always get encouraged to perform, work, study, and of course blog, whenever I talk to all of you. It’s like I am never embarrassed to share all my disgusting moments, failures and struggles with all of you. Being with the 4 of you gives me simple yet extraordinary joy.
If it wasn’t because of the two of you, I wouldn’t believe that there is a mighty, faithful and awesome God.
To my cute and adorable sister: “I will always treasure every single time we go out and bond together. It leads to being cheesy but without you, my life is not so exciting. Seeing you grow up makes me feel like a “mom”. Haha! I tend to be like a mom to you, that’s true. But I love you like a daughter, unconditional love it is.”
Throughout all my successes and failures, I am 101% sure they got my back. Proven and tested! 🙂 So to those of you who asks where I get my inspiration, here’s the answer, my family! 🙂 I can’t wait to have more food adventures with them!
I just want to share that being grateful of ALL things changes our perspective. Count all your blessings and see how blessed you are. Take all the negative aspects on the side and lean towards the positive ones. The right attitude lessens the chance to get stressed. 😉
Have a great weekend!
