With my family around, Christmas is always Merry.
Last 2010, the family spent Christmas in Tagaytay. We didn’t want to spend 2hrs on the road to Tagaytay this time. So for 2011, we tried to get a suite in Marriott Hotel and invited our relatives to party rock with us.
Here’s a photo diary of what happened to our Christmas weekend in Marriott Hotel.
Mariott Hotel welcomed us with a plate of Mango overload – fresh mango juice on a tall glass, dried mangoes (supposed to be inside the green banana leaf but Reine finished them right away), a piece of ripe mango, and my favorite, rectangular bar of mango milk chocolate.
While waiting for 12am of December 25, the time of opening gifts, we had a small program inside the suite. Mom and I organized the parlor games for everyone while my sister was the one who hosted. One of the games we played was Pinoy Henyo, the must-play game of all Christmas parties. In every Christmas party I go to, this game is always present. Of all the games we had, my 5-year old cousin Ice was the winner. He was the ultimate survivor, without any bias just because he’s a kid. His energy and enthusiasm to win definitely beat those grown ups.
Look at that mayabang smile. Such a happy baby showing off some of his cash prizes! :))
Odd one out – Dad chose stripes over polka dots. 😐 Oh, and I was wearing the shades my favorite sister gave me.
Tres Marias – Mom, Aunt Lestine and Aunt Trina.
Favorite aunts in the world. I thank God for them! 🙂
Ice, playing with one of the presents he received, LEGO!
Evening of December 25, mom and dad had their spa date after having cocktails in the Executive Lounge.
I wasn’t able to join them at the Executive Lounge because of a friend who visited me that night.
After having dinner with my friend, I immediately followed my family. I made sure my Christmas Day would start with the family and end with the family.
Overall, my Christmas of 2011 was filled with love, joy and peace. No negative emotions during that day. Purely positive vibes from 12am until 11:59 of December 25. I wish everyday is like December 25 for me. 🙂
