Just a couple more months to go and it’s already my favorite season! The streets are getting busier and so as the people around us. Before the traffic gets worse, today is the best day to think of what to give this Christmas.
The Fruit Garden recently launched their Holiday Jams collection to give you an idea of what could probably be on your list. Two new flavors were presented – Berry Dream and Tropical Paradise. These flavors are available for a very limited time only.
”Berry Dream is a lovely mix of blueberry and strawberry fruits with a subtle hint of violet flowers inspired by Pierre’s childhood memories of violet candy. “ It is more a typical ‘winter’ jam that eaten when those fruits aren’t in season. The uniqueness of that jam comes from the violet flower aroma. As child I used to eat violet candy, and it has a very special taste to me.” While Tropical Paradise is the result of over six months of testing to achieve the perfect balance of textures and flavors of passion fruit, pineapple and mango.” -The Fruit Garden
I personally love the Tropical Dream flavor as it reminds me of how refreshing summer is. The fruit combination were absolutely apt and palatable. I pair it with any piece of bread and I am all good and satisfied.
By just looking at their packages, I already felt that Christmas is in the air. It is a pleasant looking gift idea for people dear to us.
During the launch, I was lucky to get the best of both worlds. Chef Jessie Sincioco’s delectable dishes plus The Fruit Garden’s premier jams. Chef Jessie, one of Philippine’s top chefs and also known as the first Filipina pastry chef, prepared every dish served at the launch. Her creativity shined at the launch as she incorporated The Fruit Garden jams in all her dishes.
My favorites at The Fruit Garden Holiday launch are the following:
Strawberry Gazpacho with Berry Dream Jam in Votive Glass
If you think jams are limited to these dishes, well you are making a mistake. Another innovative idea was formed by incorporating chocolates with fruit jams.
This box of Belgian chocolates will bring life to Forrest Gump’s life theory as he said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get”
8 flavors: 1) peppered strawberry with dark chocolate 2) strawberry peanut butter with milk chocolate 3) pineapple coco rhum with dark chocolate 4) strawberry mint with white chocolate 5) orange marmalade in dark chocolate 6) plain dark chocolate ganache 7) mango spices dark chocolate 8) mango ginger dark chocolate
Among these flavors, my favorite is the Pineapple Coco Rhum with dark chocolate and Orange Marmalade in dark chocolate.
Simply elegant chocolate designs that I found it hesitating to eat. I feel like I will destroy the chocolate decoration if I pick out and eat single piece. Although as you get to try one, you would want to try all flavors and see what flavor stands out for you.
Don’t you think these are great gift ideas? No need to worry about the packaging. The Fruit Garden has done it already for you!
Pray, Eat and Love.
