I don’t really know how you define food trips but let me share with you how we define food trips, the Tuscany way. 😉

Few days ago, I joined Anton, RJ and some friends from the media for the launch of their foodie tour. I planned my breakfast and lunch already to make room for the foodie tour at night. Knowing I had to visit 8 restaurants in 1 night, I really had to be conscious of what I eat before the night. Well, that’s in order to appreciate more of my dinner by reducing flavors I try during daytime.

I know you are excited to find out what this foodie tour is all about. So here it goes, take a peek of what to expect at this Tuscany foodie tour.

8 restaurants in line. One of the restaurants that will start to gain your appetite is Trattoria Poggio Antico. An Italian restaurant that serves must-try appetizers.

Out of the 4 appetizers served, I found Oyster on Liver Pate the weirdest yet the yummiest. It was my first time to try this experimental appetizer of oyster mixed with liver pate. But of course, it’s never a disappointment to try Mozzarella Crostini.

A Mexican restaurant worth trying is B&T Mexican Kitchen.

On my plate is a crowd of all Mexican delights.

B&T didn’t sound new to me. In fact, their first branch at San Juan is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. I used to go for their Mango Glazed Habanero Chicken. Until now, I have to admit it is still my favorite from them. On your Tuscany foodie tour, that mango chicken will be part of your plate as well.

Next stop, we didn’t need to sit down and feel cozy. All we had to do is reach out for the ready-made Bagel with assorted Cream Cheese Filling by Les Bagels.

Les Bagels is owned by a Jewish American who brought New York bagels to the Philippines.

Highlight of my night is this!

The bagels and cream cheese fillings are insanely good!!!

It was that good that before leaving Tuscany, I bought some cream cheese fillings for myself! :))

Bacon satisfaction for you. Bacon bits swimming in your mouth together with luscious cream cheese.

Sauceria’s first branch is at Bonny Serrano near Camp Crame. I visited that branch way back in 2011. This Artisan restaurant is known for being crafty and artistic. Sauceria is proud of their dishes as they make everything from scratch, including their condiments like ketchup, mayo and the like.

At the Tuscany tour, I only got to try 2 dishes. But if you want to know more about Sauceria, you can visit my old post back in 2011.

While indulging in artisan food, look up and you’ll see this beautifully created ceiling.

To complete the 8 restaurants at the Tuscany foodie tour, here are other restaurants to expect…

Enjoy the following dishes at Marciano’s – West Side Four Season Pizza, Woody Allen Linguine and Dow Jones (US T-bone with prawns, potato wedges & roasted veggies).

At Main Street, you get to taste their Wagyu Burger (Kitayama beef in sesame bun served with tomato relish, cheddar cheese and house sauce)

Wine enthusiasts might not think of leaving Planet Grapes. Wine pairing with your choice of one red wine and one white wine.

For dessert, I know you’ll like this one. Sophie’s Mom participates at the Tuscany Foodie Tour by allowing you to try their Oreo Cheesecake Cookie and Flour-less Chocolate Cupcake.

Eating alone is not an option here.
