Pizza never gets eliminated from the world’s favorite food.
A simple and staple comfort food that the word “pizza” itself thrills any person who hears it. We all have our own pizza stories. A young 8-year old boy, who happens to be my cousin, shows a face of amazement whenever he hears the word “pizza”. Without the actual food in front of him, his imagination starts to advance as if there’s pizza actually coming. The teasing cousin, hello to me, tried to see his reaction when I tell him I’m about to buy pizza. I just love his face with his wide awake eyes and big mouth excitingly thinking of pizza. My cousin has gone Mad for Pizza!
How about you? Have you gone Mad for Pizza? Or are you about to be madly and to know about this new pizza place I’m about to share with you?
The name speaks out loud, Mad For Pizza. With its subtitle “Toppings all you want!” generally shouts out for you to be crazy in creating your pizza!
Mad For Pizza calls out pizza lovers out there to show their creativity in making their own pizza.

The Food:

Create Your Own Pizza (Php 250)
Over 40+ toppings to slop over your pizza dough!
A piece of paper was handed to me to choose from the available toppings. When we were there, not all cheeses were available. But at least mozzarella and blue cheese were present. Choosing ate my time. I paused for like 5 minutes before finalizing the toppings that I wanted. The pause wasn’t good enough so I called O to help me finalize our customized pizza.
Step 1: Choose your dough.
Step 2: sauce.
Step 3: Choose ALL the toppings you want.Basically, three steps to complete your customized pizza.

Jilliver’s
Mixed parmesan, blue cheese and mozzarella all together. We cannot go wrong with tomatoes, a must on our pizza plate. The first photo of this post was the final product of our “Jilliver Pizza.”
Justin’s Favorite (Php 250)
Rate: 4/5
It took minutes for me to come up with my final pizza plate. Those who are indecisive have an option to choose from Mad For Pizza’s on-the-menu pizza. In short, ready to order pizzas with creative combinations that you might find suitable for your taste as well.
Justin’s Favorite for example is one of those pizzas you could order. Mozzarella, parmesan. cheddar pepperoni, bacon, sausage and meatball crumble.
Anya’s Creation (Php 250)
Rate: 4/5
Anya’s Creation was Swinging like carbonara with its alfredo sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar shrimp and roasted garlic.
The common denominator lies on the cooked dough. A crisp edge that goes chewy when you reach the part with toppings.

Mad For Pizza won’t confine you with pizzas alone.A brainchild of the former Manager of the famous restaurant and hotel chains in Manila, Mad for Pizza Vice President Cyril Reyes aims to introduce a pizza bar that leaves a customer with so many interesting options yet not confined with pizza alone, “We guarantee that our main dishes are also one of the factors that draw customers in our doors”, says Cyril.

House Salad (Php 158)
Rate: 4/5

Take the appetizing salad for example. Clean and green veggies to balance the loading pizza flavors. Familiarity on its style when I tasted the salad with ingredients that aren’t alien to me. Peaches, tomatoes and eggs with sweetness sprinkled from its dressing.

Nachos (Php 178)
Rate: 4/5
Getting to the comfort level of food, this plate of Nachos adds comfort to your pizza creation. Entirely cheesy and meaty, an overdose for those who created gooey cheesy pizzas. I suggest you limit the amount of cheese on your customized pizza if you are thinking of adding Nachos to your table.
Tensesse Pork Spare Ribs (Php 268)
Rate: 5/5
Totally forgot I was in a pizza parlor after having Tenesse Pork Spare Ribs. Insanely tender meet with rich barbecue sauce kept me hanging for more ribs. Spare yourself some ribs when you visit ok?
Classic Fish and Chips (Php 198)
Rate: 3/5
Flavors went downhill to Classic Fish and Chips right after the ribs. A less complex dish of Dory fish wrapped in crispy, lightly coated pancake breading with a whiff of vanilla essence.
Amboy Angus Beef Belly in Adobo Sauce (Php 198)
Rate: 4/5
Marinated overnight in this semi-sweet Adobo sauce. The beef remains to be tender, locks in a blend of Filipino-American flavors with some herbs and its Adobo sauce mixture.
Bannoffee Cubbler (Php 88)
Reminds me of my college Starbucks favorite, in-house Bannoffee Pie. I used to enter Starbucks for their Bannoffee Pie, not the coffee. Reasonably priced Bannoffee Cubbler to end your meal with a sweetener.
Salted Caramel Milk Shake (Php 95)
I was too excited to take a sip of this Salted Caramel Milk Shake. The excitement turned to failure as it was a bad idea to fill myself with this sweet and salty caramel milk shake right before savory flavors of pizza. I lost my taste buds for a little while. So I had to ask for more than a glass of water to return me back to normal. Please don’t copy me. Drink this Salted Caramel Milk Shake right after a savory appetizer.

Time to show your creativity through creating your own pizza!
