I added a little sunshine to my mom’s day when I asked her to bond with me one Saturday for an afternoon of getting our nails done. It was a mother and daughter day for us as Orly, Sophie’s Mom and Beauty & Butter pampered our girly side.

Sophie’s Mom at McKinley Hill effortlessly turned its 2nd floor like a nail spa. With its floral and chic interior, mom really thought Sophie’s Mom wasn’t only a dessert shop but a nail spa at the same time.

Pretty colors everywhere from Orly’s latest collection! Every lady would want a collection like this. It’s a feast for us! Right ladies?

From Orly’s launch of their newest collection, what stunned me was their Blush Collection. Blush Collection stayed true to its girly side with shades of nude to pink. Mom and I both agree that the colors fit our fair Asian skin tone. Mom’s whiter than me so any shade will actually suit her.

Baked Collection leaned on solid bright colors. I was also thinking of getting the shade of orange or pink but Blush Collection seemed to be a love at first sight to me.

After finally deciding on what color shade to paint my nails, I tried some cupcake snacks from Sophie’s Mom.

I’m always amused how my mom lives day by day without putting any make-up on. Her low maintenance face only requires skin care products, not costly make-up kits to glamour her fair clear face. She could attend meetings with that bare pretty face. But then, she couldn’t show off to her colleagues with hideous nails.

While relaxing on my seat for my nails to be pampered, a bottle of pretty Green Tea Shake from Sophie’s Mom was my handy companion throughout the event.
