I love counting my blessings simply because there is joy in reminding myself how God is faithful in every aspect of my life. Every January 1, my family meets to discuss our prayer requests for ourselves and for each other, and how we were blessed the past year. It’s always amazing to see how God truly answers our prayers. Sometimes with a ‘yes,’ sometimes with a ‘no,’ sometimes with a ‘wait’. Nevertheless, we know in our hearts our mighty God was in control of our 2015, all for our own good.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”Romans 8:28
Here’s a quick recap of things I’m thankful for 2015:
My Engagement to O
My best news for 2015!! Both our families gave O the blessing to ask me to be his wife. 🙂
And of course I said YES!
O’s Surprise Birthday 
It was an intimate and meaningful surprise birthday for O. I’m truly thankful to everyone, our friends and families, who were there for O.
HK Trip with Reine
Our very first trip together, without our parents! Freedom! Hahaha! So far, it’s one of the best adventures I’ve had outside Manila. Thankful that my sister and I had the chance to travel together, while I’m still single. 🙂
Korea Trip
Missing in this photo is Dad, who was stuck in Manila because of meetings and work. 🙁 Oh well, I’m still thankful God gave me the opportunity to bond with my family and O in Seoul, Korea.
Skydiving in Guam
My adventurous life is complete because of my skydiving experience in Guam!
New York Trip
It was my first time to explore the big apple. Thanks to my mom who made this trip possible! 🙂
San Francisco Trip
Right after weeks of our New York trip, mom and I flew to the west coast of the US to explore San Francisco.
Las Vegas Trip
Thank you to O and his mom who made my Las Vegas trip a fun one!

It was an unexpected yet awesome 2015. Proves that my plans for myself are nothing compared to how God orchestrates my year to be. I have a big and wonderful God who loves me unconditionally, that kind of love is more than enough. Now, I’m looking forward to 2016, where most of my days, I’ll be thinking about my wedding and married life. Haha! I am a constant worrier but I have to rest in God’s promises.
Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
