My wildest imagination wouldn’t think that I could be a Dove Girl.
It is an honor to be introduced as one of the 10 Dove Girls at the Women on Women Exhibit. This photo exhibit occurred last month at the new Bonifacio High Street Centrale.
The Dove Women on Women photo exhibit presents the original works of 10 female photographers as they tell the beautiful and inspiring stories of 10 new Dove women as subjects. According to Julian Gollayan, Dove brand manager, the photo exhibit is a celebration of real beauty. It is in line with Dove’s long time advocacy to promote real beauty globally. The stories of the 10 Dove women are highlighted to inspire women from all walks of life. This means, all women should believe that they are beautiful in their own right.
Mom and I (Jenny and Jillian Bantang) were introduced as the mother and daughter tandem who represent a tradition of real and simplicity passed across generations.
The urban planner, Michelle Lim. The soul surfer, Sabs Bengzon. The health warrior, Kat Catapusan. The confectionist, Jackie Po. The science writer and curator, Maribel Garcia. The jade of all trades, Camille Acacio. The novelist, Samantha Sotto. The alopecia advocate, Abby Asistio. The olympian, Rachel Cabral.
Our huge photo at the Bonifacio High Street Centrale. Just in front of Slice.
Abby Asistio, the alopecia advocate, serenaded us with her song, Beautiful. One sweet and inspiring song for all women out there. Her voice is amazingly beautiful!
Through this, I see how God is showing me how gracious He is to an undeserving person like me. His blessings are abundant, pouring like there is no tomorrow. Apart from God, I am nothing. He is definitely a God of wonders. Again, I am humbled and honored to be part of this.
To God be all the glory!
Pray, Eat and Love.
Cheers,
The Food Scout
